The REET (Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers) is an entrance examination for teachers conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education. The REET  syllabus includes the following topics:


1. Child Development and Pedagogy

2. Language (Hindi, English, Sanskrit)

3. Mathematics and Science

4. Social Studies


The detailed syllabus for each of these topics is as follows:


1. Child Development and Pedagogy:

  - Child Development: Concept of growth and development, Principles and dimensions of development, Factors affecting development, Measurement of development, and Developmental stages and their characteristics.

  - Learning: Concept, factors affecting learning, and theories of learning.

  - Pedagogy: Concept, teaching-learning process, and teaching-learning strategies and methods.


2. Language:

  - Hindi, English, and Sanskrit: Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development, Grammar and Language Elements, and Teaching-learning materials and aids.


3. Mathematics and Science:

  - Mathematics: Number system, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Data handling, and Pedagogical issues.

  - Science: Food, Materials, The World of the Living, Moving Things People and Ideas, and Pedagogical issues.


4. Social Studies:

  - History: Ancient, Medieval and Modern Period, and Pedagogical issues.

  - Geography: Geography of Rajasthan, India and World, and Pedagogical issues.

  - Political Science: Indian Constitution and Political System, Governance and Public Policy, and Pedagogical issues.

  - Economics: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, and Pedagogical issues.
